EAST FORK MINK CREEK NORDIC CENTER

Located about 7 miles from Pocatello, Idaho, the East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center (EFMCNC) is operated by the City of Pocatello in conjunction with the Caribou-Targhee National Forest and volunteers from the Pocatello Cross-Country Ski Foundation. Operated under a special use permit through the USFS, it hosts approximately 20k of groomed skate and classic ski trails, as well as separate snowshoe trails and a sledding hill.


Trail passes are required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and proof of purchase must accompany skier, i.e., season pass, daily pass, or parking receipt. Snowshoeing does not require a trail pass as those trails are not groomed, but it does require a parking pass.


During the season the EFMCNC A-frame will be is staffed from 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-5pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Skiers may use the trails at any time during the season by purchasing a season pass or by using the fee box at the parking lot. The full service rental center is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9-5 throughout the season. The season typically runs from mid December through late March.

Volunteers from the Pocatello Cross-Country Ski Foundation and members of Parks & Recration put in countless hours packing and grooming trails.

East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center base hut offers a full service rental center open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9-5 throughout the season.
SPECIAL EVENTS
East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center hosts the annual Potato Cup cross-country race for kids & adults of all levels and several other special events.

YURT INFORMATION
The East Fork Mink Creek Yurt is 50 yards from the parking lot and can be rented overnight. Yurt users need trail passes to use the ski trails.
